March, the third month of the year, was named for the Roman god of war, Mars. In the early Roman calendar, March (or Martius) was the first month of the calendar year.
As March brought the first day of spring, it was the start of new beginnings.
The Samajh has decided to start a Dry Leaves Collection Day every year in the first week of March. We will name it Gold Collection Day. Because it will provide good health for the plants and good wealth for the farmer.
We will use these dry leaves as manure. This interesting activity will also create awareness among the people. We will spread awareness among people, how they can decompose these leaves and make compost. We will first start it from a local area, then we will go on a larger scale.
